All RSPCA cats are neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.

Most of these cats have been rescued by RSPCA Inspectors, found abandoned and wandering the streets.

Re-home an Animal

We are always looking for people that are willing and able to re-home an animal, whether that is a dog, cat or one of our other small animals.

The first thing to consider before seeing our animals is that the needs of animals can vary enormously and it is imperative that you fully understand this before you attempt to take an animal on.

Once you have decided on the type of animal that you could offer a good home to, the next step would be to contact one of the re-homing coordinators.

Before releasing an animal to any new owner we have a responsibility to ensure that the new owner will be capable of offering the animal a good home. Animals come into our care for a number of reasons. This may be due either to abuse, neglect or possibly because the previous owner became incapable of looking after the animal. It is for this reason that any new owner's home is visited before we release the animal to them.

It should be noted that there will be a small fee for adopting an animal. In addition to veterinary treatment all cats and dogs are neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to re-homing.

Borgia

1 yr old male Tabby.

Borgia was brought to us by our Inspector after he was found suffering from the effects of poisioning

he has made a full recovery physically BUT is still a little wary of people.

with time and patience he will be a lovely cat.

LUPIN

GOOD WITH OTHER CATS, FRIENDLY AND AFFECTIONATE. LUPIN CAME IN WITH HER 9 WEEK OLD FEMALE BLACK KITTEN ABBY.

JASPER

2 YR OLD MALE WHITE

JASPER CAME TO US AFTER BEING ATTACKED BY A DOG, HE HAD DREADFUL INJURIES, WHICH HAVE ALMOST FULLY HEALED.

JASPER IS A WONDERFUL BOY VERY FRIENDLY AND NOW WANTING TO PLAY.

HE WILL BE A GOOD COMPANION PET.

TED

6 MONTH OLD MALE BLACK

TED WAS FOUND AS A VERY POORLY STRAY IN STUDLEY.

HE WAS VERY UNDERWEIGHT AND IS A NERVOUS BOY.

HE HISSES A SWEARS, BUT IS NOT AT ALL AGGRESSIVE.

TED WILL NEED AN UNDERSTANDING OWNER PREPARED TO BE PATIENT AND LOVING WITH HIM.

INIGO

6YR OLD MALE BLACK AND WHITE FLUFFY

A VERY GENTLE CAT INDIGO HAS HIS LEFT EYE MISSING FROM A PREVIOUS ACCIDENT

WOULD MAKE AN IDEAL FAMILY PET.

FEZZIK

4 MONTH OLD MALE GINGER TABBY.

FEZZIK IS WONDERFUL, PLAYFUL, VERY BRIGHT AND INTELLIGENT, HE LISTENS TO EVERY WORD SPOKEN TO HIM, AND PROBABLY UNDERSTANDS.

HE WILL MAKE A SUPERB FAMILY PET.

JET & SOOTY

14 WEEK OLD MALE BLACK BROTHERS JET IS LONG HAIRED AND SOOTY IS SHORT HAIRED

LOVELY AFFECTIONATE KITTENS WILL IDEAL PETS.

PAN WAS FOUND IN A SEALED BOX IN A FIELD IN REDDITCH, THANKS TO A DOG WALKER SHE WAS FOUND.

SHE IS A LOVELY YOUNG CAT, FRIENDLY AND GENTLE.

MINTY

12 WEEK OLD BLACK & WHITE MALE

MINTY IS A FRIENDLY YOUNG BOY ABANDONED BY PREVIOUS OWNERS.

HE IS A LITTLE ANXIOUS AT THE MOMENT BUT WILL BE A GOOD FAMILY PET.

EVELYN

18 WEEK OLD WHITE AND BLACK FEMALE

ABANDONED WITH MINTY, EVELYN IS A LITTLE ANXIOUS AT THE MOMENT AND WILL NEED A HOME WITHOUT SMALL CHILDREN.

PIGLET & TINKERBELLE

10 MONTH OLD MALE BLACK FLUFFY AND FEMALE BLACK FLUFFY  YOUNGER BUT AGE UNKNOWN

PIGLET IS A DELIGHT, VERY FRIENDLY AND LOVING, DESPERATE FOR ANY ATTENTION AND AFFECTION.
HE CAME IN WITH TINKERBELLE WHO IS ALSO BLACK AND FLUFFY BUT YOUNGER, SHE IS ALSO A DELIGHT, VERY PLAYFUL AND LOVING.

BEAUTIFUL TO LOOK AT, AND WITH A PERSONALITY TO MATCH, AN IDEAL FAMILY PET.

BROOME

BLACK SHORT HAIRED MALE 8 MONTHS

ALTHOUGH ONLY YOUNG BROOME IS A BIG CAT, HE HAS AN EXTRA TOE ON ALL HIS FEET, HE IS VERY PLAYFUL AND AFFECTIONATE.

GOOD WITH OTHER CATS, AN IDEAL FAMILY PET.

Dolly is sweet natured, gentle little cat, WHO is good with other cats and will be an ideal family pet.

she is very sweet and affectionate.

she was found trapped by wire around her waist and tied to a tree.

Nice gentle, friendly cat.

Poppy and Pepsi

two 11yr old black cats

Devoted sisters so must be rehomed together.

Both girls are very affectionate and loving cats and will make wonderful family pets, due to their age we are looking for a home without young children or dogs.

LONG TERM FOSTERING-CATS

FROM TIME TO TIME WE HAVE CATS THAT FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER CANNOT BE FULLY ADOPTED OUT TO NEW HOMES. FOR THOSE CATS WE NEED GOOD AND LOVING FOSTER HOMES.

THESE PLACEMENTS ARE ON A LONG TERM BASIS. THE RSPCA WILL PAY ALL THE VETS FEES AND THE FOSTERER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAY TO DAY CARE OF THE CAT.

THESE MAY BE OLDER CATS, SOME HAVE MOBILITY PROBLEMS OR THEY MAY SIMPLY BE CATS THAT OTHER PEOPLE JUST KEEP PASSING BY. THEY ALL NEED THAT SPECIAL LOVING CARE THAT ALL CATS DESERVE.
